The Coordinator, Partnership Operations will oversee rights checks, metadata workflows, and day-to-day content delivery for Global Media Partnerships. The role ensures compliance, partner-ready distribution, and process efficiency by managing operational systems and troubleshooting delivery issues. The Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day execution of rights checks, metadata processes, and content delivery within the Global Media Partnerships (GMP) team. This role ensures that distribution deals and partner commitments are supported with accurate rights clearance, partner-ready metadata, and seamless delivery of live and non-live content.
Key responsibilities:
Rights & Legal Support
- Conduct rights clearance checks for all licensing deals, for partner specific requests, term, rights, exclusivity, language, territory for Global Key accounts, Regional Media partnerships.
- Resolve rights conflicts with Content Management and legal
- Suggest replacement assets
- Facilitate case management
- For Shared Viewing Distribution help coordinate with SVD RBTV team and SVD Syndication tool
- Conduct shadow case creations
Metadata Management
- Ensure metadata quality and completeness across all content deliveries.
- Monitor metadata standards and enforce compliance with partner specifications.
Content Delivery Operations
- Conduct delivery of live and non-live content via Activity, MRSS feeds, and other partner-required solutions.
- Track and troubleshoot delivery issues, ensuring timely resolution and partner satisfaction.
- Liaise with Technical Operations and Content Services for bespoke delivery requirements. Ensure partner specifications (formats, metadata, delivery deadlines) are met and troubleshoot delivery issues quickly, it is the responsibility of key accounts and media partnerships to negotiate and supply partner tech. specs early to detect deal costs (transcoding) and facilitate on time delivery.
Process & Workflow Coordination
- Maintain operational systems (CRM/C4C, Airtables, syndication tools), ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records
Reporting & Insights
- Monitor and report on rights checks, metadata compliance, and delivery KPIs.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Country Partnerships, Regional teams, global Key accounts for SVD and global Streamers, Legal, Finance, and Technical Operations to align on processes and partner needs.
Media Partnerships Management Support
- Ensure partner-specific technical, metadata, and compliance requirements are met prior to content delivery
- Conduct checks on content to verify accuracy, format compliance, to partner specifications, based on information available. Provide feedback to internal stakeholders if metadata is incorrect or incomplete.
- Liaise with Technical Operations and partner tech teams to manage onboarding, feed setup, delivery, and compliance troubleshooting
- Maintain up-to-date tracking of partner deliveries, versioning, and compliance to support accurate reporting.
- Coordinate with Legal and Media Partnerships Managers to ensure rights, licensing terms, and content usage align with Media Partnerships commitments
- Provide regular updates on delivery timelines, partner issues, QC findings, and system changes impacting distribution
Experience,Knowledge & Skills:
- University Degree (desirable but not essential) – Performed in similar role, preferably with focus on Media Distribution
- Working experience 1-2 years in similar role
- Strong communication skills
- Precise and detail focused, sticking to processes and workflows
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with high degree of flexibility
- Comfortable working within a highly pressured and operationally focused environment
- Openness towards local culture and business habits
- Operate with the highest levels of enthusiasm and energy and look for ways for continuous improvement in all tasks
- Positive personality and strong team player
- Solid English knowledge, both written and oral. Any additional language of benefit
