Responsibilities:

• Test pre-and-postproduction apps, platforms, and tools in the QA device lab containing TVs, set-top boxes, mobile devices, and game consoles.
• Work with our internal team to triage and track issues in our bug tracking database.
• Author and execute test cases against APIs, databases, and environment variables.
• Actively participate in test planning, creation, and execution phases, including functional, integration, regression, automated and end to end testing.
• Collaborate with the rest of the QA team to analyze and improve the QA process.
• Generate organized and detailed documentation of defects and feedback in a bug tracking database.
• Review product requirements and design docs to inform test coverage and provide feedback.
• Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
• Work with the QA Manager to ensure the QA Lab equipment is maintained and we stay on the near edge of relevant device coverage.
• Coordinate with US based team members and management to define test strategy and provide status reports.
• Collaborate with SCRUM teams to incorporate the effective creation of test cases and plans into each 2-week sprint cycle
• Actively participate in test planning, creation, and execution phases, including functional, integration, regression, automated and end to end testing.
• Draft status reports, attend meetings, and actively communicate progress.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Excellent English skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance testing in a similar software/hardware environment
• Must be available to work full-time, on-site when needed.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience working on short-timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with standard software development methodologies
• Familiar with basic IT troubleshooting (networking, software/hardware troubleshooting)
• Understanding of how to export system logs from iOS and Android devices

Compensation and benefits:

• A salary of 56.000,00 EUR gross per year (fulltime). However, our salaries are based on the current market level and can be above this amount depending on appropriate experience and qualifications.
